  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • Chocolate chips or sprinkles (optional for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a heart-shaped baking pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, melt the butter and let it cool slightly.
  3. Stir in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, sift together the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Let the brownies cool in the pan before cutting into heart shapes.
  9. Decorate with chocolate chips or sprinkles if desired.
