A delightful and rich cake featuring a tender base and a creamy, gooey topping that melts in your mouth.

Ingredients

  • 1 box of cake mix
  • 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 8 ounces of cream cheese, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 cups powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Mix together the cake mix, melted butter, and 1 egg until combined. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  3. Beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add in the 2 eggs, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar. Mix until well combined.
  4. Pour the creamy mixture over the cake layer in the pan and spread it evenly.
  5. Bake for 40-45 minutes until the edges are golden and the center is jiggly.
  6. Let your cake cool before slicing and serving.

Notes

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or fresh berries. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
