  • 4 large eggs

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually add this to the butter mixture until just combined.
  5. Beat the cream cheese until smooth, then mix in the powdered sugar.
  6. Spread the butter cake batter into the prepared baking pan, then top with the cream cheese mixture.
