Delightfully soft and chewy cookies filled with colorful sprinkles, perfect for any celebration.

Ingredients

  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup rainbow sprinkles
  • Frosting of choice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
  3. Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the creamed mixture. Stir gently until just combined.
  6. Stir in the sprinkles until evenly distributed.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are golden.
  9. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  10. Frost the cookies with your choice of frosting and garnish with additional sprinkles if desired.

Notes

Store cookies in an airtight container for up to a week. Freeze unbaked dough for up to 3 months.
