Delightful and crispy Fried Mac & Cheese Bites that combine creamy cheese and perfectly cooked pasta in a crunchy coating.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked macaroni
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or a mix of your choice)
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Combine the ingredients in a large bowl, mixing together cooked macaroni, shredded cheese, milk, eggs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator covered with plastic wrap for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Form small, bite-sized balls from the chilled mixture.
  4. Coat each ball in breadcrumbs until completely covered.
  5. Fry the bites in hot oil over medium heat until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Drain the bites on paper towels and serve hot.

Notes

Pair with your favorite dipping sauces like marinara, ranch, or sriracha mayo. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
