Delicate lace cookies with crisp edges and a chewy center, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and baking soda.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between each cookie.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Store leftover cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week, or freeze for up to a month.
