Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets, 6 ounces each, skin on
  • 1 ½ tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 ½ teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Remove the salmon fillets from the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature while you prepare the glaze and preheat the oven.
  2. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  3. Line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the low sodium soy sauce, olive oil, honey, Dijon mustard, and minced garlic until fully combined.
  5. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the prepared baking dish.
  6. Reserve half of the glaze in a separate bowl. Brush the remaining half evenly over the salmon fillets.
  7. Bake the salmon for 12 minutes.
  8. After 12 minutes, brush the fillets with the reserved glaze and continue baking for an additional 2 to 8 minutes, until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.

Notes

Check the salmon for bones before serving. Add smoked paprika to the glaze for a smoky flavor.
