A delightful cake that forms three layers while baking: light, creamy, and dense, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the milk, sugar, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth.
  3. Gradually add the flour and salt to the mixture, and blend until well combined.
  4. Slowly pour in the water, mixing until the batter is liquid and smooth.
  5. Pour the batter into the greased baking dish.
  6. Bake for about 60 minutes, or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool before serving. Dust with powdered sugar if desired.
