Delicious and crispy hash browns made easily in a waffle maker for a unique breakfast experience.

Ingredients

  • 2 large potatoes, grated
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Optional: cheese, herbs, or spices

Instructions

  1. Preheat the waffle maker according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine grated potatoes, chopped onion, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat.
  3. Lightly grease the waffle maker with cooking spray.
  4. Place a portion of the potato mixture in the preheated waffle maker. Cook for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Carefully remove hash browns and repeat with remaining mixture, greasing the waffle maker before each batch.
  6. Serve hot with optional toppings.

Notes

For extra crispiness, squeeze out excess moisture from the grated potatoes. Experiment with different spices for added flavor!
