Delicious and easy-to-make crispy garlic Parmesan roasted green beans, perfect as a side dish for any meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh green beans
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Wash and trim the green beans, and then place them in a large bowl.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour the olive oil mixture over the green beans and toss until evenly coated.
  5. Spread the green beans on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  6. Roast in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until they are crispy and tender, stirring halfway through.
  7. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
  8. Return to the oven for an additional 2-3 minutes to melt the cheese.
  9. Drizzle with lemon juice before serving, if desired.

Notes

For extra crunch, consider adding breadcrumbs along with the Parmesan cheese.
