A simple yet decadent Italian dish featuring silky spaghetti tossed in a rich cream sauce with sautéed mushrooms and garlic.

Ingredients

  • 200g spaghetti
  • 200g mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parsley for garnish
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add sliced mushrooms and cook until softened.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Add cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
  6. Serve garnished with parsley and grated Parmesan cheese if desired.

Notes

To save time, chop your garlic and slice your mushrooms while your pasta is boiling. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
