A comforting dish featuring tender chicken breasts in a rich, creamy garlic Parmesan sauce.

Ingredients

  • 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Slice chicken breasts in half horizontally or pound to an even thickness. Season both sides generously with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Sear the chicken in a skillet over medium heat until golden brown and cooked through, about 4–5 minutes per side.
  3. Remove the chicken and add butter to the skillet. Once melted, sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and stir well to deglaze the skillet, scraping up any brown bits. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese and let simmer until thickened.
  5. Return the seared chicken to the skillet and let it simmer for another 2–3 minutes to soak up the sauce.

Notes

Pairs well with pasta, steamed vegetables, or crusty bread. Can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
