  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Combine the milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract in another bowl.
  4. Mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each cavity about 3/4 full.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until lightly golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool for a few minutes before removing from the pan.
  8. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
