  • 2 pounds chicken thighs or drumsticks
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons sweet paprika
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and cook them until they turn translucent, about 5 minutes.
  2. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute, stirring frequently.
  3. Sprinkle the sweet paprika into the skillet, stirring it to coat the onions and garlic evenly.
  4. Add the chicken pieces, browning them on all sides.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth, stirring gently to combine. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
  6. Reduce the heat, cover the skillet, and let it cook for 30-40 minutes.
  7. Stir in the sour cream, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with a sprinkle of fresh parsley.

Notes

Use good quality sweet paprika for the best flavor. Adjust the creaminess to your preference.
