A nostalgic and comforting casserole filled with layers of pasta, creamy cheese, and seasoned ground beef.

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups cooked pasta
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Sauté the ground beef, chopped onion, and minced garlic in a skillet over medium heat until the beef is browned and the onions are tender. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in the cream cheese until melted and creamy. Add diced tomatoes, cooked pasta, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese over the top.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  7. Cool for a few minutes before serving warm.

Notes

For extra richness, add a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese before baking. You can also add frozen peas or spinach for extra nutrients.
