A vibrant marinade that brings tender pork chops to life with the refreshing flavors of citrus and the warmth of garlic.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 pork chops
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh orange juice
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, orange juice, minced garlic, honey, salt, pepper, oregano, and paprika until well combined.
  2. Marinate the Pork Chops: Place the pork chops in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are well coated.
  3. Chill Out: Seal the bag or cover the dish and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, allowing the flavors to infuse the meat deeply.
  4. Preheat the Cooking Surface: Preheat the grill or oven. If grilling, cook the pork chops over medium heat for about 6-7 minutes per side until fully cooked. If baking, place in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for about 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
  5. Allow to Rest: Let the pork chops rest for a few minutes before serving, locking in all the juicy goodness.

Notes

Adjust acidity by adding more or less citrus juice. For added heat, consider red pepper flakes in the marinade.
