A delightful combination of classic banana bread swirled with sweet cinnamon flavors, topped with a luscious glaze.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 23 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Combine the mashed bananas with the melted butter in a mixing bowl.
  3. Stir in the baking soda and a pinch of salt.
  4. Mix in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract.
  5. Add the all-purpose flour and stir until just combined.
  6. Mix cinnamon and brown sugar in a small bowl for the filling.
  7. Pour half of the batter into the loaf pan and sprinkle with half of the cinnamon mixture.
  8. Add the remaining batter, topping it with the rest of the cinnamon filling.
  9. Swirl the cinnamon filling into the batter with a knife.
  10. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  11. Cool the bread and drizzle the glaze made from powdered sugar and milk over the top.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days at room temperature or freeze slices for up to 2 months.
