Delicious and festive Christmas brownies, rich in chocolate and topped with colorful M&Ms, perfect for sharing during the holiday season.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (226g) unsalted butter
  • 4 ounces (113g) unsweetened baking chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • 2 cups (400g) granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup (20g) unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 â…“ cups (162g) all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup Christmas M&Ms
  • ¼ cup Christmas Sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with foil, leaving an overhang, and spray it with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the unsalted butter and chopped unsweetened baking chocolate. Heat in the microwave until melted and smooth.
  3. Stir in the granulated sugar until combined. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing fully after each addition, then add vanilla extract and salt.
  4. Sift in cocoa powder and flour, mixing until just combined to preserve fudgy texture.
  5. Fold in half of the Christmas M&Ms, then pour the batter into the prepared pan. Top with remaining M&Ms and sprinkles.
  6. Bake for 25-35 minutes until a toothpick comes out with a few crumbs for a fudgy center.
  7. Cool on a wire rack before lifting out and slicing into bars.
