A rich and velvety chocolate dome dessert filled with creamy mascarpone, perfect for impressing guests at any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 200g dark chocolate
  • 250g mascarpone cheese
  • 100ml heavy cream
  • 50g powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Melt dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl over simmering water until smooth.
  2. Coat the inside of hemisphere molds with the melted chocolate, ensuring an even layer, and freeze until set.
  3. Whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form, then fold in mascarpone, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and salt.
  4. Fill the chocolate shells with the mascarpone cream mixture and freeze again until firm.
  5. Gently remove the domes from the molds and place them on a plate, drizzling with melted chocolate before serving.

Notes

Pair with a berry coulis or fresh seasonal berries. Store leftovers in the freezer for up to 1 week.
