Chocolate Dome Dessert

A delightful treat combining rich dark chocolate with creamy mascarpone filling, perfect for special occasions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 200g dark chocolate
  • 250g mascarpone cheese
  • 100ml heavy cream
  • 50g powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Melt the dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl over simmering water until smooth.
  2. Coat the insides of dome-shaped molds with the melted chocolate and refrigerate until set.
  3. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  4. In another bowl, mix mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
  5. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture.
  6. Fill the chocolate domes with the mascarpone cream and let them set in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
  7. Once set, remove the domes from the molds and serve immediately.

Notes

Garnish with fresh berries or mint leaves and serve with coffee or tea. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two days.
