Chinese Chicken Cabbage Stir Fry

A comforting and savory chicken stir fry with crunchy cabbage and aromatic flavors.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Chicken breast
  • 2 cups Cabbage, chopped
  • 3 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 inch Ginger, minced
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Slice the chicken breast into thin strips.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and ginger to the pan and sauté for about 1 minute.
  4. Cook the chicken strips until they are no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Add the chopped cabbage and stir-fry until tender but still crisp, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Pour in soy sauce, and season with salt and pepper.
  7. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently.
  8. Serve hot, optionally over rice or noodles.

Notes

Feel free to customize with leftover veggies or add chili flakes for spice.
