A classic and comforting Chicken Parmesan recipe featuring tender chicken, marinara sauce, and melted cheese, perfect for family dinners.

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for frying
  • Cooked pasta or salad for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a shallow bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dip each chicken breast in the breadcrumb mixture to coat evenly.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Place the cooked chicken in a baking dish and top each piece with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Serve over pasta or alongside a fresh salad.

Notes
