A warm, comforting sandwich made with shredded chicken, creamy avocado, and melted cheese.

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 1 cooked chicken breast, shredded
  • 1 avocado, mashed
  • 1 slice of cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Butter for grilling

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the shredded chicken with the mashed avocado. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Spread the chicken and avocado mixture generously on one slice of bread.
  3. Top with a slice of cheese, then carefully place the second slice of bread on top.
  4. Heat a pat of butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Grill the sandwich on each side until golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. Remove from the skillet, slice, and serve warm.
