A delightful combination of rich chocolate brownies swirled with creamy cheesecake and topped with sweet cherry pie filling.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup cherry pie filling

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine melted butter and sugar, then add eggs and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually stir in the dry ingredients until just combined.
  5. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan.
  6. In a separate bowl, mix cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth.
  7. Dollop the cream cheese mixture over the brownie layer and swirl gently.
  8. Spoon cherry pie filling on top of the cream cheese layer.
  9. Pour the remaining brownie batter over the cherry filling.
  10. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  11. Let the brownies cool in the pan before cutting into squares.

Notes

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or chilled with whipped cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
