Easy Cheese Bread

Deliciously cheesy bread perfect for snacking or as a side dish.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 large egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Stir in the shredded cheese of your choice.
  4. Mix the milk, melted butter, and egg in another bowl.
  5. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and mix until just combined.
  6. Transfer the batter into the greased loaf pan.
  7. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. Let it cool before removing from the pan, slice, and enjoy!

Notes

Perfect as a side to soups or salads, and can be stored for up to three days at room temperature.
