A delightful cheese ball made with cream cheese and cheddar, coated in nuts for a crunchy finish.

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (e.g., pecans or walnuts)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Crackers for serving

Instructions

  1. Combine the cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl. Mix well until smooth.
  2. Form the mixture into a ball shape and wrap it in plastic wrap.
  3. Refrigerate the wrapped cheese ball for at least 2 hours to allow flavors to meld.
  4. Unwrap the cheese ball and roll it in the chopped nuts to coat the surface completely.
  5. Serve on a platter with assorted crackers.

Notes

Make sure to use softened cream cheese for easier mixing. Allow the cheese ball to sit at room temperature for 15-20 minutes before serving for easier spreading.
