A delicious blend of warm bread pudding, sweet apples, and rich caramel, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 6 cups of bread, cubed
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons of cinnamon
  • 4 cups of apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup of caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, cream, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon.
  3. Add the cubed bread to the mixture and let it soak for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Fold in the sliced apples gently.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  6. Drizzle caramel sauce over the top.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden and set.
  8. Let it cool slightly before serving. Drizzle with additional caramel sauce if desired.

Notes

For best results, use day-old bread. This dessert can be served warm or at room temperature, optionally with vanilla ice cream.
