A vibrant and flavorful Cajun Chicken Pasta, featuring tender chicken and creamy sauce with bell peppers and onions.

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or penne)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup bell peppers (sliced)
  • 1/2 cup onion (sliced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Season the chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning and add them to the skillet. Cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes on each side. Remove from the skillet and slice.
  4. Add the sliced bell peppers and onion to the same skillet; sauté until soft.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and stir, allowing it to simmer for a few minutes.
  6. Add the cooked pasta and sliced chicken to the skillet, tossing everything together.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

This dish can be made ahead of time; prepare the chicken and sauce in advance, then combine with pasta just before serving.
