  • 1 pound of sausage (such as kielbasa or smoked sausage), sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 4 cups of chicken or vegetable broth
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon of paprika or red pepper flakes for heat

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat until shimmering.
  2. Brown the sliced sausage in the pot for about 5-7 minutes, until nicely browned.
  3. Sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until softened and fragrant.
