A comforting casserole that combines shredded chicken with creamy soup and a buttery Ritz cracker topping, perfect for potlucks or family gatherings.

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup crushed Ritz crackers
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Pour the chicken mixture into a greased casserole dish.
  4. Mix the crushed Ritz crackers with the melted butter and half of the shredded cheddar cheese.
  5. Sprinkle the Ritz cracker mixture evenly over the chicken mixture.
  6. Crown it with the remaining cheddar cheese.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until bubbly and golden on top.
  8. Let the casserole cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3-4 days. It reheats beautifully in the oven or microwave.
