A simple yet elegant appetizer featuring creamy Boursin cheese topped with crunchy pistachios and a sweet, spicy hot honey drizzle.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz Boursin cheese (garlic & herbs flavor)
  • 1/2 cup shelled pistachios, roughly chopped
  • 2 tablespoons hot honey (adjust based on heat preference)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped (for garnish)
  • 1/2 tablespoon lemon zest
  • Fresh baguette or crackers (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Remove the Boursin cheese from the refrigerator and let it soften at room temperature for about 15 minutes.
  2. While the cheese softens, roughly chop the pistachios into small pieces and set aside.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the hot honey and lemon zest, stirring well to blend the flavors.
  4. Once softened, place the cheese onto a serving dish, shaping it as desired.
  5. Drizzle the hot honey mixture evenly over the cheese.
  6. Sprinkle the chopped pistachios over the cheese and honey, pressing them in slightly with a fork.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley.
  8. Serve with slices of fresh baguette or your favorite crackers.

Notes

Adjust the amount of hot honey based on your guests’ spice tolerance. You can prepare the cheese and toppings separately and drizzle the honey just before serving for best presentation.
