A comforting casserole filled with ground beef, cheese tortellini, and marinara sauce, topped with gooey mozzarella and Parmesan.

  • 16 oz cheese tortellini
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 24 oz marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the cheese tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  4. Stir in marinara sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and add salt and pepper to taste. Let simmer for a couple of minutes.
  5. Combine the cooked tortellini with the beef mixture in a baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese on top.
  7. Transfer to the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  8. Cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve with a green salad and garlic bread for a complete meal. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
