A rich and creamy dessert perfect for special occasions or as a delightful treat.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 large egg yolks
  • 2 tablespoons gelatin
  • 1/4 cup cold water

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, mix the milk, sugar, and vanilla extract over medium heat until warm.
  2. In a bowl, whisk the egg yolks and slowly add the warm milk mixture to temper them.
  3. Return the mixture to the pan and cook gently until it thickens.
  4. In another bowl, dissolve gelatin in cold water, then add to the warm custard.
  5. Let cool slightly, then fold in whipped heavy cream.
  6. Pour into a mold or serve as needed.

Notes

For best results, use fresh heavy cream and ensure gelatin is fully dissolved.
