Delightful baked twists made with buttery crescent rolls and sweet cinnamon-sugar, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 can of crescent roll dough
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 2 teaspoons of cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup of melted butter
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Gently unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the sugar and cinnamon.
  4. Brush the melted butter generously on the triangles.
  5. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the buttered triangles.
  6. From the wide end of each triangle, twist it from the base to the point to form a spiral.
  7. Place the twists on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. In a small bowl, beat the egg and brush it on top of the twists.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, until golden brown.
  10. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve fresh from the oven with coffee or tea. They pair well with fruit preserves or warm caramel dip.
