  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the balsamic vinegar, olive oil, minced garlic, dried rosemary, dried thyme, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish and pour the balsamic mixture over the top, ensuring the chicken is well coated.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the juices run clear.
  5. Garnish with fresh basil if desired before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken for a few hours or overnight. Ensure chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) for safety.
