Instructions

  1. Activate the Yeast: In a bowl, combine warm water and sugar; sprinkle yeast on top and let it sit until foamy, about 5-10 minutes.
  2. Combine The Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil; mix until combined.
  3. Knead the Dough: Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  4. Let It Rest: Let the dough rest for 10 minutes.
  5. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  6. Shape the Dough: Roll the dough into strips and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Top with Flavor: Brush melted butter over the breadsticks and sprinkle with garlic powder and Parmesan cheese.
