Enjoy warm, fluffy air fryer baked potatoes with your favorite toppings in just about 40 minutes.

  • 4 medium russet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings: sour cream, chives, cheese, bacon bits

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Air Fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Scrub the russet potatoes under running water and dry them thoroughly.
  3. Prick each potato several times with a fork.
  4. Rub the potatoes with olive oil, ensuring they’re evenly coated, then season with salt and pepper.
  5. Place the seasoned potatoes in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  6. Cook the potatoes for about 35-40 minutes, turning them halfway through.
  7. Remove the potatoes and let them cool slightly.
  8. Serve with your favorite toppings.

Notes

Choose uniform potatoes for even cooking and avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket. If you prefer softer skin, wrap potatoes in foil (note this will reduce crispiness).
