A delicious and fresh Ahi tuna burger served with a zesty homemade Sriracha aioli, perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ahi tuna, diced
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 burger buns
  • Lettuce and tomato for toppings
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Sriracha
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine diced Ahi tuna, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, soy sauce, sesame oil, grated ginger, salt, and pepper. Mix well and form into patties.
  2. Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat and cook the patties for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise, Sriracha, and lime juice to make the aioli.
  4. Assemble the burgers by placing the tuna patty on a bun, adding lettuce, tomato, and a generous dollop of Sriracha aioli.
  5. Serve your delicious Ahi Tuna Burgers right away, with a side of your favorite chips or a fresh salad!

Notes

These burgers are best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Uncooked patties can be frozen for up to a month.
