A comforting one-pot meal featuring orzo pasta, chicken, and a creamy Cajun sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners.

  • 1 cup orzo pasta
  • 1 pound chicken breast, diced
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Sauté the chicken in olive oil over medium heat until browned, about 5–7 minutes.
  2. Sprinkle the Cajun seasoning over the chicken and stir to combine.
  3. Add the orzo pasta and chicken broth; bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes, until orzo is tender and liquid is mostly absorbed.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and parmesan cheese until creamy; season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes
